TAYPOME-NITAN Tripod with three ring handles, ornamental volutes below the bowl and legs ending in lion's paws; above to left, monogram of API. HGC 2, 1571. SNG ANS 1115. Rare. An exceptional example with an absolutely wonderful small scale head of Apollo. Light scratches, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
